Dr. Hassan Nadhem wrote a chapter in a book on multiculturalism published by UNESCO

The UNESCO Secretary-General Irina Bokova, launched a book entitled ‘Interculturalism at the crossroads’ edited by Fathi Mansouri, at the Scientific and Cultural Forum in the Azerbaijani capital Baku, in which the UNESCO Chairholder at the University of Kufa, Dr. Hassan Nadhem, wrote a chapter entitled ‘Identity and Literary Canon in a Multi-Cultural society’, in which he discussed the biography of the Turkmen poet Fuẓūlī al-Baghdadi, -died in 963 AH- and his literature which we received in Turkish, Arabic and Persian, stressing the need to adopt multi-lingual literary personalities in heritage, to build bridges of dialogue and coexistence among multiple societies.
