Sayed Jawad Al-Khoei was awarded the Ambadocles Prize for Interfaith Dialogue from the Academy of Mediterranean Studies, Sicily, Italy, 2017. The award is presented for the first time under the title “Dialogue, Religion and the Muslim Scientist”. The event was attended by a high-level gathering of intellectual, scientific, academic and religious figures from Italy and Europe. Al-Khoei spoke about the historical role of the scientific estate in Najaf and its supreme religious authority in establishing the concepts of peaceful coexistence.
