The Executive Director of the Lebanese Adyan Foundation, Dr. Eli Al-Hindi, together with the Programme Officer, Professor Abdou Saad,, as well as the Director of the  Iraqi Alamal Association, Professor Jamal Al – Guahri, visited UNESCO Chair of Dialogue at the University of Kufa on Monday morning, 6 September 2021.

The activities of the Institution of Adyan Foundation and Projects of the UNESCO Chair were discussed during this visit, in the presence of Dr. Tahasan Fadel and Mr. Hassan Al-Saref.

The parties have agreed to issue a series of studies to be written by researchers from Iraq and Lebanon on the topics of pluralism, dialogue, citizenship building, and community peace, given the similarity of the political and societal composition between Iraq and Lebanon.

Dr. Alaa Shatnan, Director of the UNESCO Chair, recalled that there had been previous joint cooperation between the UNESCO Chair, the Adyan Foundation, and the Iraqi Alamal Association in several scientific and cultural projects, including the draft road map for building citizenship in Iraq.
