Muhsin al-Dhalimi is the President of the University of Kufa since 2017. He received the M.B.Ch.B degree from the College of Medicine,University of Baghdad, in 1990, the D.V.D. (Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology) from the College of Medicine,University of Baghdad, in 1998. He also holds a F.I.C.M.S. (Fellowship of Iraqi Committee for Medical Specialization) degree in Dermatology and Venereology in 1998, a C.A.B.S (Colleague of Arab Board Committee for Medical Specialization) in Dermatology and Venereology in 1999, and a Diploma in laser applications in dermatology, Institute of laser for post-graduate studies- University of Baghdad, 2004.
He is an active professor of Dermatology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kufa since 2011. His main research interests are laser and physical treatment applications in the treatment of skin diseases. He has published many research papers in relevant scholarly journals and have been invited as a keynote speaker and lecturer to many national and international conference events.
