In the company of a delegate from Najaf, the Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair for Dialogue at the University of Kufa, Dr. Hassan Nadhem visits Cardinal Mar Louis Rafael on May 31, 2020 at the Patriarchate residence in Baghdad. The delegate included Sayyed Jawad Al-Khoei, Sayyed Zaid Bahr Al-Oloum, Dr. Aref Bahashi and Dr. Saad Salloum, Head of Masarat Foundation.

After greetings, Cardinal Mar Louis wished the visiting delegation and all Iraqis salvation from the Corona pandemic and its consequences. Then, he talked about the repercussions of this epidemic on the religious side, especially with the current “quarantine” and the importance of reviewing some concepts in the light of present experience. The meeting was concluded with recommendations on human and national solidarity in these difficult circumstances.
