UNESCO Chair Participated in Conference on Imam Hussein’s Revolution.

The UNESCO Chair participated in a conference on the revolution of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) held by the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein on Monday, November 20, 2023. The chair was represented by Dr. Tahsin Fadhel Abbas, who presented a research paper on Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) as an inspiration to the brave and an inspiration to the world’s revolutions against corruption of all kinds. He also spoke about Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) as a planter of the seeds of movements against falsehood and tyranny. Just as he disturbed the sleep of the Umayyads and toppled their thrones, Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) stands as the paramount symbol of recurrent uprisings against colonialism, oppression, and injustice wherever they occur.
