UNESCO Chair Participates in a Joint Scientific-Religious Conference Project.

At the invitation of AL-Imam Amir al-Mu’mineen Center in Najaf al-Ashraf, Dr. Alaa Shattnan participated in a preparatory workshop that brought together AL-Imam Amir al-Mu’mineen Center, Dominican International University in France, and the UNESCO Chair for Dialogue at Kufa University. The meeting led to an exchange of ideas and views on several important religious and social issues, especially in line with Al-Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him)approach.

The General Superintendent of the Center, Mr. Ali Al-Jabri, pointed out the need to pay attention to human rights in AL-Imam Ali’s approach and his idea, which represents the pinnacle of human rights maturity according to His Honourable Speech.

Father Dr. Dominican Emir Jaji, a member of the Pontifical Council for Interfaith Dialogue at the Vatican and Assistant Chancellor of the Dominican International University for International Relations, liked this topic and suggested adding another one about women.

The Director of the UNESCO Chair for Dialogue at Kufa University, Dr. Alaa Shatnan, said that ideas, visions, and the bright side of Islam should be refined.

The meeting agreed on a protocol for intellectual and cultural cooperation so that they could hold cultural and intellectual seminars and sessions on these important issues that affect the whole world.
