(Joint symposium of the UNESCO Chair for Dialogue at University of Kufa and the French Institute in Baghdad)

Fraternity, tolerance, justice, and equality are concepts common to the divine religions brought back to the front by the visit of His Holiness the Pope to Iraq and his meeting with representatives of religions, particularly with supreme leader Sayyid Ali al Sistani indulgence in Najaf al-Ashraf. These concepts will be the centerpiece of an Islamic-Christian dialogue interspersed with discussions on the Intertextuality of religious and literary texts regarding the concepts of brotherhood and equality in Islamic and Christian religions.
