The UNESCO Chair for Dialogue at Kufa University participated in the “National Identity and Culture of Pluralism” workshop in Erbil under the auspices of the Adyan Foundation/Iraqi branch.
At the workshop, the attendees talked about setting priorities and making suggestions for activating Iraq’s national identity. They also talked about how important it is to move forward with this on the sub-identities of the Iraqi community fabric.
Twenty personalities from Iraq participated in the round table in the form of five groups; each of them presented important priorities and ways for the realization and development of national identity in Iraqi society. Dr. Tahsin Fadil Abbas represented the UNESCO Chair in the workshop.
