The UNESCO Chair at Kufa University held a symposium in cooperation with the Imam Amir al-Mu’minin Center for Specialized Studies and Research in Najaf on Sunday evening, 12/6/2022.
Dr. Abbas Al-Faham of Kufa University, Faculty of Education, who represents Imam Amir al-Mu’minin Center, Dr. Tahsin Fadil Abbas, representing UNESCO chair, attended the Symposium, and was managed by Dr. Khaled Al-Hamidi.
The two lectures dealt with the highest values of human rights, on which The Commander Of The Faithful was based on his rule in Islam, his management of Islamic affairs, and his direct interaction with the people of his era. The lecturers concluded that human dignity is the cornerstone of the human rights of the commander of the faithful in the management of the state. The injustice of man is a waste of his dignity (and we honored Bani Adam), which is the greatest value of Islam after unification.
At the end of the session, the questions and discussions on the topic were asked.
In conclusion, Dr. Alaa Shatnan, Director of the UNESCO Chair for Dialogue, thanked and appreciated the management of the Imam Amir al-Mu’minin Center for cooperating in the holding of the symposium.
