Vatican Delegation Visits Archaeological Sites of Babylon on Thursday, 16/3/2023.

Recently, the Vatican delegation visited the Archaeological sites of Babylon’s city as a part of the Christian-Islamic forum programme sponsored by the UNESCO Chair at the University of Kufa. This visit was held to commemorate the second anniversary of the Pope’s visit to Iraq, during which he had a historic meeting with the religious authority Ali Al Sistani.

A delegation includes researcher Stephen B. Young, Lord Daniel Brennan, House of Lords, London, John Dalla Costa, Dr Ahmed Al-Wakil, Dr Raed Sharafuddin and Mr Antoine Frim. Dr Tahsin Fadil, a member of the UNESCO Chair and General Coordinator of the Forum, accompanied them.Translated into English by Shaima Adnan.
