Representative of the UNESCO Chair Meets with the Iraqi Ambassador in Oslo

At the conclusion of the activities organized by the UNESCO Chair for Interreligious Dialogue at the University of Kufa in Spain and Norway, Dr. Tahseen Fadhil, the representative of the UNESCO Chair, along with the accompanying Iraqi delegation, visited the Iraqi embassy in Oslo and met with His Excellency Ambassador Ali Yasin Muhammad on May 7, 2024

During the meeting, discussions revolved around the activities conducted by Iraqi institutions in Norway and the embassy’s support for all scientific and cultural initiatives. Dr. Tahseen Fadhil introduced the UNESCO Chair’s activities at both the local and international levels, highlighting its role in promoting interreligious dialogue within Iraq, which has contributed to fostering a spirit of religious, sectarian, and ethnic tolerance in the country. He also emphasized the international activities aimed at maintaining peaceful coexistence among all religions. The Iraqi ambassador praised all efforts aimed at raising Iraq’s profile in international forums.
