The UNESCO Chair representative meets with the Iraqi ambassador in Spain.

On the sidelines of the symposium organized by the UNESCO Chair in collaboration with the Al al-Bayt (PBUH) Foundation for Heritage Revival in Spain and the Imam Amir al-Mu’minin (PBUH) Center for Specialized Studies and Research in Najaf, held in Madrid on Saturday, May 4, 2024, Dr. Tahseen Fadhil, the representative of the UNESCO Chair, met with Dr. Salih Hussein Ali Al-Tamimi, the Iraqi Ambassador to Spain, and Dr. Amin Al-Barzanji, the Iraqi Consul at the Iraqi Embassy in Spain. The meeting was also attended by Haj Musa Al-Asam, President of the Foundation, and the Iraqi delegation, including Sayyid Ali Al-Jabri, General Supervisor of the Imam Amir al-Mu’minin (PBUH) Center for Specialized Studies and Research in Najaf, and Dr. Ammar Nassar, a professor at the College of Arts, University of Kufa.

Dr. Tahseen Fadhil provided an overview of the goals and activities of the UNESCO Chair for Interreligious Dialogue at the University of Kufa, highlighting its local and international initiatives. In response, the ambassador expressed his pleasure in meeting the delegation and affirmed the embassy’s readiness to support and assist all Iraqi scientific and cultural activities in Spain.
