With the participation of unseco chair for Inter-Religious Dialogues in the university of Kufa , held in the new university of Sorbonne in Paris in the events of the international conference ( civil war in the Arab literature ) within two days 13 and 14 November 2024.
PHD Alaa Shatnan the head of the Unesco chair had participated with a research paper entitled with (( The fantacy and the unbleavable in the civil war novel : a reading in three Iraqi modern novels )).
He displayed in the beginning of his paper an introductory for the most important ten Iraqi novels which talked the proceeding events in the after American occupation of Iraq era in 2003 and the changing of the system added to the conflicts that followed the occupation as the sectarian war that was caused by the terrorist groups and their attacks and explosions which was done by these criminal organizations , and that affected the Iraqi society and its texture plus its security, living ,and psychological
reality . Then he named three novels that talked a deep analysis for the fantastic and unbelievable part within events which are all of the novels ; ((Frankenstein in Baghdad )) for Ahmad saadawi plus ((Baghdad dead)) for Jammal Hussain Ali and the novel (( Baghdad Morgue )) for Burhan AlShawie .
The other research papers tackled a different set of topics within the first day dealing with different historic eras along with various geographic and society regions like Palestinian civil war and its representations in the destobian palestinial novel , and the role of woman in writing down the Lebanese civil war added to the Iraqi civil wars in the boiehian era along with her depiction in literature .More over the civil war in the middle ages and the sects wars in Andalusia , plus the ethical revolt and the sophism search in facing the internal conflicts in morocco.
