UNESCO Chair Participates in The National Conference on Cultural Diversity

The UNESCO Chair for Dialogue participated in the National Conference on Cultural Diversity held by the Ministry of Culture on the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development on Sunday, May 22, 2022.
Dr. Alaa Shatnan, the Director of the UNESCO Chair at Kufa University, headed the second session, which consisted of two axes and included six researchers from Iraqi universities and the Ministry of Culture.
The researchers addressed a number of topics on cultural diversity and their relation to the curriculum, education, and information, political, cultural, and religious pluralism, holy places, cultural heritage, promotion of cultural identity, and legal protection.
The Minister of Culture, Dr. Hassan Nazem, concluded the conference would also present certificates to researchers and participants.
