UNESCO CHAIR For Inter-Religious Dialogue Studies in The Islamic World
Dr. Musab Abdel-Zahra, member of the UNESCO Chair for Dialogue at the University of Kufa presented a workshop entitled “Revisiting Impoliteness Towards a Cognitive Perspective” in the auditorium of the Faculty of Languages on Tuesday, December 13- 2022. During the workshop, Dr. Musab Abdel-Zahra discussed the possibility of using speech tools strategically in social communication to accomplish several tasks, such as revealing legal facts, performing practical tasks, criticising, analysing, and evaluating achievements in political debates. Teachers and students of the English Department attended the workshop.
