UNESCO CHAIR For Inter-Religious Dialogue Studies in The Islamic World
The UNESCO Chair participated in the on-site seminar titled “Global and Regional
Perspectives in Contemporary Society: An Overview of the Middle East and the Arab World.”
which took place at Hussein Institute for Dialogue and Peacebuilding, affiliated with Imam
Hussain Holy Shrine, on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
During the seminar, researcher and professor Francesco Nicola Maria PETRICONE from
LUMSA University in Italy delivered a lecture on the concept of globality and the differences
between it and the concept of globalization, as well as their implications on international
societies, particularly in the Middle East and the Arab world.
