UNESCO CHAIR For Inter-Religious Dialogue Studies in The Islamic World
Prof Dr. Musaab A. Al Khazaali, a member of the UNESCO Chair, participated in a scientific seminar titled “Critical and Pragmatic Studies of English Novel” held at the College of Languages at the University of Kufa on Sunday, January 7, 2024.The seminar shed light on English novels within literary and pragmatic linguistic critical frameworks. It investigated the types and methods of evaluation strategies in English novels and their impact on the individual value of the narrative text. The seminar also recommended the need to deepen pragmatic studies of English novels, compare different eras of novels, and apply literary criticism theories to comparative studies between Arabic and English novels.
