Participation of the UNESCO Chair Member in a Scholarly Symposium Organized by the Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence at the University of Mosul

Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Abis, a distinguished member of the UNESCO Chair for Interreligious Dialogue at the University of Kufa, took part in an academic symposium entitled “The Importance of Cultural Heritage in Promoting a Culture of Peace and Dialogue,” hosted by the College of Education for Human Sciences on Monday, October 13, 2025.

This symposium came within the broader framework of fostering academic dialogue on the pivotal role of peace and peaceful coexistence within societies.

In his contribution, Dr. Abis offered insightful perspectives and thoughtful reflections that enrich the intellectual exchange between Iraqi universities and research centers, further advancing the shared pursuit of harmony, understanding, and cultural interconnectedness.
