UNESCO Chair for Dialogue participates In a Workshop for a Proposed Academic Curriculum on Peaceful Coexistence.

The UNESCO Chair for Dialogue at Kufa University participated in a workshop organized by the British Council in Erbil for representatives of Iraqi universities to study the possibility of proposing an academic curriculum that would support dialogue and peaceful coexistence in Iraq from 16 to 19 March 2022.
Dr. Tahaseen Fadel Abbas, who participated in this workshop, as a representative of the UNESCO Chair for Dialogue said : The University of Kufa was represented by (The UNESCO Chair for Dialogue, The Faculty of Law, and Administration and Economics Faculty) with attending of seven Iraqi universities from (Duhok to Basrha)which participated in the workshop to discuss (Peaceful coexistence) in Iraqi universities, at the same time developing students’ skills in a spirit of debate and dialogue, denouncing hate speech, respecting the other, and promoting citizenship in the service of a pluralist Iraq and its people.
